Dr. Carl J. Foster serves on the board of trustees for the Stark County Medical Society

ALLIANCE, OH, November 9, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Carl Foster, Anesthesiologist for Alliance Community Hospital, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in anesthesiology.

Dr. Foster is an anesthesiologist with nearly four decades of medical experience and expertise in neuromuscular blockades. For the past 9 years, he has practiced at Alliance Community Hospital, where he also serves as the chairman of the department of surgery. Dr. Foster is tasked with supervising nurse anesthetists, managing all patient care and treatment, and collaborating with surgical teams. He attributes his success to his honesty and forthright perspective.

With a passion for both science and community service, Dr. Foster became a physician assistant in 1976 upon his graduation from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. In 1987, he attained an MD from Temple University and went on to become board-certified in anesthesiology. He remains current in his industry through affiliation with the American Society of Anesthesiologists, The Ohio State Medical Association and American Society of Regional Anesthesia. Furthermore, Dr. Foster serves on the board of trustees for the Stark County Medical Society. He plans to continue his anesthesiology practice in the years to come, as well as his studies in health care management.

Further down the road, he aspires to begin a new career in fiction and nonfiction publishing.
