As a self-employed psychotherapist with more than two decades of professional experience, Ms. Essick specializes in the treatment of depression and anxiety. She has counseled patients from a variety of backgrounds with a wide range of issues. She owns and operates a private psychotherapy practice, through which she treats patients with matters such as identity issues, sexual abuse, addiction, marital issues, occupational issues, depression and anxiety. Ms. Essick received a master's degree in clinical counseling and psychotherapy from Webster Unviersity in 1994, was nationally board certified in psychotherapy in 1998, and is a licensed professional counselor in the State of Missouri.
