Dr. Weideman has 17 valuable years of experience in her field and utilizes that industry expertise to serve as president of Sakari Consultants LLC, a firm that provides consulting services for small- and medium-sized businesses to build robust and business-sensible solutions for product stewardship, sustainability, and compliance programs, including product safety, hazard and risk assessment for the workplace and the environment. Dr. Weideman is a proven leader in product stewardship concerning human and environmental hazard and risk assessment, in the pharmaceutical, specialty chemical, and consumer products industry sectors. She attributes her success to her perseverance, honesty, creativity and passion.

To further her industry knowledge, Dr. Weideman did her post doctoral studies in occupational toxicology. She holds her Ph.D. and M.S. in environmental health science, earned at New York University. Before that, she received a bachelor's degree in biology, with a concentration in industrial hygiene, from Clarkson University and an Associate in Applied Science in nursing from Jefferson Community College. Active in her industry community, she is a member of the Society of Toxicology, the Mid-Atlantic Regional Chapter of the Society of Toxicology and the Society for Chemical Hazard Communication. In 2009, she received a Visionary Award, conferred by Schering-Plough, and in 2008, she was a recipient of a Tribute to Women in Industry Award from the YWCA of Central New Jersey. In the next several years, Dr. Weideman intends to develop the company in order to increase its market value.
