WellMed Opens 3 Primary Care Clinics in Texas
Physicians In Floresville, Brownsville and Austin will focus on senior care for Medicare-eligible patients.

The new WellMed clinics are in Floresville, Austin and Brownsville. With these facilities, WellMed now operates 40 clinics in Texas and another four in the Treasure Coast region of Florida. All clinics focus on delivering quality healthcare to Medicare-eligible senior patients.
• WellMed at North Brownsville (5700 N. Expressway 77/83 Ste 307, Brownsville, TX 78526 / 956-350-8666) - This is the third WellMed clinic in the Lower Rio Grande Valley and the first in Cameron County. Dr. Guadalupe Davila is the physician provider. She earned her Medical Degree from the UT Health Science Center at San Antonio and has practiced medicine in the Lower Rio Grande Valley for more than a dozen years. Dr. Davila is Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
• WellMed at Floresville (104 Turner Lan, Ste B, Floresville, TX 78114 / 830-393-3492) - This is the first WellMed clinic in Wilson County. Dr. Emily Frye, who has been practicing medicine in Floresville since 2006, is the physician provider. A graduate of Texas A&M, Dr. Frye earned her Medical Degree from the UT Health Science Center at San Antonio, where she received the Perry Post Award for Excellence in Family Medicine. During her residency at UT Medical Branch in Conroe, Dr. Frye was awarded the Golden Heart Award for excellence and compassion in cardiology.
• WellMed at North 183 (12505 Hymeadow Drive Ste 2C, Austin, TX 78750 / 512-219-0129) - This is WellMed's sixth clinic in the Greater Austin area. Dr. Abhilasha Gupta is the physician provider. She practiced medicine in Georgetown for nearly a decade before joining WellMed. Dr. Gupta, Board Certified Internal Medicine, serves as Medical Director for Resolutions Hospice and was Associate Medical Director at the Inpatient Rehabilitation Center at St. David's Georgetown Hospital.
