Dr. Joiakim has 25 years of professional experience and has served as assistant director of research and chief technical officer for Detroit R&D, Inc. for the past three years. An expert in molecular biology and technology development, he oversees biotechnology research and develops diagnostic kits for various bio-markers specific to heart diseases, cancers and environmental toxicities. Dr. Joiakim, who is determined to contribute scientific knowledge to the community, has published more than 20 research articles in various scientific journals.

Dr. Joiakim holds a Ph.D. and a Master of Science. He is a member of Society of Toxicology and American Cancer Society. Looking to the future, Dr. Joiakim hopes to continue developing diagnostic products and contributing to science and technology.
