Ms. Griggs has dedicated two decades to her profession

This special distinction honors individuals who have shown exceptional commitment to achieving personal and professional success.

As chief executive officer of Alert/ Best Nursing & Home Care, Ms. Griggs utilizes 20 years of experience to manage all aspects of business, oversee clients and staff, provide training on health and safety, interact with the community, sponsor events, and provide alternatives for health care workers. She also handles marketing, consulting, and public relations and advises and guides patients about health insurance.

An expert in the provision of health services to clients, geriatrics, home care support and brain injury support, Ms. Griggs became involved in her profession because she worked for a long-term care facility for 10 years, but was not pleased with the environment. She wanted to do more for patients and provide them with the care they needed and deserved. She attributes her success to her drive, passion and high level of energy.

A Registered Practical Nurse, Ms. Griggs studied nursing at Mohawk College. She is a member of the Stroke Recovery Association, Cancer Society, Ontario Home Care Association, Alzheimer's Association of Halton - Hamilton, Multiple Sclerosis Society, Hamilton, Ontario Brain Injury Association and The Canadian Gerentological Nursing Association Going forward, Ms. Griggs intends to continue to grow professionally and provide quality patient care services.
